To be fair, I fear getting old, viewing it with the same dread most of society does, like an ending of something. It's nice to have a current, alternate viewpoint that makes it seem like a new beginning and by your words, it appears this is exactly what Herb Weiss has done. I enjoyed your writing, and thank you for the review!

This is a very detailed review. Growing old or aging can be very scary. The struggles, physically, mentally, and health-wise, that come with it are not talked about enough sadly.
I commend the author for this thoughtful piece.

This book brings under the spotlight topics related to the eldest about what their perception of age is, which is something I never stopped to reflect about. Also, the fact it contains real-life testimonies and touches on current issues such as covid makes it more appealing. Congrats.

Though I'm not an officially old person yet, I feel the personal stories by the author and the large statistics of old age problems in this book will help me in the days to come. A nice self-help book for the elderly. Thanks for the review. Congrats on the BOTD!

Growing old is a natural process, but it is not a smooth path for all people to cross this threshold of their lives. In Taking Charge by Herb Weiss, the author discusses the problems and challenges relating to older people to a greater extent, and the preparatory instructions seem informative.

Growing old does not have to be a death sentence.
Yes! This book really made me to understand the sentence better. While aging there are challenges you face and the author talk more about them.
Love it!

Thanks for your review. It seems this book will be a great help for elders and aging people all over the world and not just in the US.

I like the topic of this book. It's not too early in preparing a retirement and how people will spend their retirement's days. I think, this book is very useful for everyone who's in early 50 to prepare it and also for the elderly to help them to use their time with positive thoughts and activities. It is a motivator and a self-help book. Thank you for your wonderful review.

This seems like a good book for the right audience. I'm sure many elderly people will be able to relate to Herb Weiss' book and learn a thing or two. Thanks for the review!

An interesting and useful tool addressing the challenges of aging. Not the type of self-help book I would normally select to read but I'll save it on my reading list as it could be a useful reference later on. Thank you for the informative review.

This non-fiction book seems to talk a lot about the problems that older people face, such as fraud. But it also seems to bring a lot of statistics about those problems and questions related to the coronavirus pandemic, economic aspects, and a lot more. Congrats on BOTD to the author! Thanks for the review!

Growing old doesn't truly doesn't mean a death sentence and old people should be more empowered so that they find it a blessing much more than a curse to be old. It's so sad that the author basically mostly provides statistics but everything else seems to be enjoyable.

I think the proficiency of the book I will benefit from it as a young adult because I will age in the future and its retirement guidance, I think I might recommend it to my parents.
