I like to read this book because it is fairly written, from her early stage of experiences in life to her adulthood experiences. As a daughter who is always force to be the faithful. In fact this made me to cry a little.

The story seemed fascinating as the author went through a lot in her childhood since her family was kinda of abuseve.

Can serve as a self-help book. Managing insults especially from people who are dear to us is commendable. Am going to take a look at the book. I also reccommend it to young adults. They can grasp few moments from the book that will enhance skills in emotional intelligence.

This book is a collection of stories that focus on the author's life and family history. The book is split into chapters about different times in the author's life. She recalls experiences as a young child through adulthood. She also talks about her ancestors as invented based on their personalities and her knowledge of her family's history. An interesting read and a very good review.

The review said it all. This book is a compelling memoir with imagined and actual stories from the author's past life. I'm not interested in memoirs, especially with family drama. I believe every family relationship is always complex and followed by love-hate moments. I know how it feels when you're not the perfect child in the family cause I experienced it when my parents treated me differently from my siblings. But they are always proud of their suscess-parenting style without knowing they failed me with my mental health issues by their mistreatment. This book might give me chills when I read it cause it will remind me of my life. So I'll pass this one. Thank you for a great review.

I enjoy reading memoirs that don't paint a rosy picture of the author's life in every aspect. Life is sometimes difficult for everyone, and I appreciate an honest look at those moments. I will enjoy this book, I'm sure. Thank you for a great review.

I love to find books about the author's memoirs because it is interesting to learn about the events they live through that have impacted the culture or some historical event. The arrival of their ancestors from Russia seems like a pretty striking topic, and the descriptions of the people to determine what the relationship was like seems to me to be a very useful resource. I already want to read this book.
