In as much as I don't like and keep dogs, I admire those who know how to take good care of them, like the author. Thanks for an interesting review!

Since I love all animals, and especially doggos, I'm definitely reading this. I can't think that being a animal control officer is an easy job, especially when it come to rescues of these poor animals. I can't wait to meet Kia and all the other special fur babies she encountered. Thanks for a great review. Congrats on BOTD and thanks for the free book.

This book sounds like a heartwarming journey into the bond between humans and dogs. Exploring telepathy as a means of understanding our furry friends adds an intriguing layer to the connection we share. Definitely sounds like a read that can deepen anyone's understanding of their canine companion and enhance their care for them.

According to the book, Ilona Benzel is a former Animal Control Officer (ACO). It is likely that she experienced shelters and fostered dogs during her time working in animal shelters. It could be a group of stories that depict the difficulties and victories of animal rescue workers.

Sounds interesting, but unfortunately the subject matter of this book isn't my usual reading material. Like often happens with non-fiction, it relates to serious issues and I prefer to read for entertainment and recreational purposes to unwind after a stressful day at work. Apologies, but I will have to pass the book and still congratulations on BOTD!
