Thank you for your thoughtful review of "Voiceless" by Marie McCreadie. Your detailed account of the book's emotional impact and the challenges Marie faced gave me a deeper understanding of her journey. I appreciate how you highlighted both the harsh realities and the moments of resilience in her story. It's inspiring to see how the book resonated with you, and I look forward to reading it myself.

It's so sad to learn about how the author was treated by people when she lost her voice. Marie's story is one of determination and perseverance. I cannot wait to crack open this heartwarming story. Congrats to the author for having the BOTD.

I wonder what kind of illness that was to cause Marie to lose her voice. It's sad to learn about what she went through, especially the ridicule. However, I don't read nonfiction, so I'll be skipping this book.

Your review is absolutely on point. Marie's story is heartbreaking, yet inspiring. Her honesty and vulnerability shine through in this book, and it's eye-opening to see the challenges she faced due to her disability. The way she was treated by some people is shocking, but her resilience and determination are truly admirable. I loved how the book raises awareness about the importance of understanding and supporting people with disabilities. A truly remarkable and thought-provoking read.

Thank you for your great review. I appreciate it when authors of memoirs write the book so honestly. I can't imagine not being able to speak anymore. So many things we do or use throughout the day without thinking about it, and then when we can't we realize how important they are to us. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the book to see how she handled this.

An honest and telling memoir of a teen’s life, Voiceless" by Marie McCreadie, outlines the pain a young girl who lost her voice. The trauma she endured culminated with a sore throat and once recovered, the girl was voiceless. The reviewer really liked the book and wrote a great review about how forthright and communicative the author was in telling her story.

An inspiring book that proves one could face any challenges with sheer willingness to not give up. It is sad that the people at her school did not support her and thought she was faking it. I wish they knew what she was going through.
Thanks for the review.

It's disappointing that people with disabilities get treated poorly by others. I applaud Marie for writing this honest memoir. If it changes just one person's behavior it's done it's job.

A tale that demonstrates that although life is full of difficulties, anyone can overcome them all if they have a strong enough will and faith in the right way. I appreciate the review.

“Voiceless” by Marie McCreadie is a memoir of the author’s difficult times after she contracted a serious sore throat when she was a teenager that resulted in her losing her voice. She regained her health but could not communicate vocally with others. The priests and nuns at her Catholic school told her she was being punished by God for being evil and her classmates were relentless in their treatment of her in and out of classes. Marie lived with her disability and should be admired for how she handled the issues she faced. A well-written book with an excellent official review.

It is truly a beautiful depiction of the disability of a small girl and how she was treated by the society. "Voiceless" by Marie McCreadie tells us about the harsh mentally of people towards the disabled persons. Some take it as excuse and some show their pretentious concern...but both are very hurtful which can be easily interpreted by author's emotions expressed in the book. It is truly a hard time and experience that make us realise the reality of our society and the need to change it.
