“Permaculture for the Absolute Beginner” by Dawn Raynes is a story about starting a garden and getting a maximum harvest. The type of plants, soil and garden management will lead to garden success. Interacting with other garden owners will help improve one’s garden development. This book is a must read for current and future gardeners. It is split into three sections with the first one devoted to permaculture concepts. Soil, time one can devote to the garden and giving plants room to grow are very important. The soil should be replenished with mulch every year. Very good review.

The amount of detail and praise in this review for someone who wasn’t even planning on using this book to start their own garden is really an impressive endorsement! For a book about gardening to make such an impression it must be above and beyond the average gardening book. This fact alone made me go download the book free on my Kindle unlimited! The rest of the very detailed and well written review was just icing on the cake, great job!👏🏻

This sounds like a wonderful book for those who likes growing their own garden, as well as those who would love to start. I, however have the unfortunate luck that nothing grows that I touch. This is definitely not a book for me so I'll give it a skip. Thanks for a great and detailed review. Congrats on BOTD.

Despite the fact that I enjoy having plants in my house, I've always felt like I'm not very good with them. I've searched for gardening guides like this before, but I've never come across one just like this. I'll give it a try and get to work on my plants today.
I do agree, though, that pictures would be very helpful.
Great review very honest and well-written.
