The author's journey is remarkable and encouraging. Your dream is very important, and you should never allow anything to stop you from achieving it. I love inspiring memoirs and personal development books. I'll check out on this one. Congratulations to the BOTD author!

The story contains moral lessons, and despite not knowing what she would encounter on her journey, Monica was determined to attain her goal, which I admire.

Thank you for this detailed review! I was particularly drawn to Monica's story of resilience and determination, especially her decision to leave Nigeria for Poland at just 17 without her family's knowledge. It’s clear from the review that the book does a fantastic job of showing how her experiences abroad shaped her perspective and gave her a more open-minded view of the world. I appreciate how the review highlights Monica's inclusive mindset, especially her belief that human experiences and relationships should transcend race and culture. It's inspiring to see how she not only overcame her own challenges but also used her experiences to help others, like the young boy named Independence. The fact that she never felt disenfranchised, even when facing societal barriers, is a powerful takeaway. I’m excited to read more about her journey from a curious teenager to a successful entrepreneur!

Anyone interested in personal development and entrepreneurship will love Monoca's story. She left her home country of Nigeria at the age of 17 and travelled to Poland. This new country presented opportunity but numerous hurdles stood in Monica's way. She speaks against racism, segregation and iterates that all humans are equal.

I certainly would like to know why Monica fled to Poland even without informing her siblings or parents. Thank you for your review.

I read the first five paragraphs of Chapter 1, "In the Beginning," and the author does a wonderful job of introducing their family and their childhood life. I think this sets the scene for what seems to be one of the book's main themes: personal discovery and growth. I am looking forward to reading it.

Yes, Monica have done wrong by getting out from Nigeria to Poland without her parents permission, fortunately she managed the struggle until she got her brother's help from Germany and now she is relieved because her brother got her back.

The themes in "They Love You Until You Start Thinking for Yourself" by Monica Omorodion Swaida sound incredibly inspiring, especially her journey as a young immigrant overcoming challenges. Her perspective on resilience, personal growth, and the importance of breaking free from societal norms is compelling. The way she emphasizes the value of human experiences across cultures resonates deeply. This memoir seems like a valuable read for anyone interested in personal development and entrepreneurship. Looking forward to hearing more about her story!

Wow just reading the review got me thinking how life can be such a journey, from how Monica moved from Nigeria, and showed her personal growth. I also appreciate the point of having someone to support you... when Monica received help from her brother in Germany.

I''m not really a fan of memoirs but this one sound inspiring. I think traveling and adapting to different cultures would be eye-opening for certain.
