Caarna's journey to finding her source of health, happiness, and spirituality is truly remarkable. I find the mix of religion and specifically Christianity with science and other modes of healing rather interesting and even slightly unusual.

The sample and the intro are well done. I am happy the author has used light from within. Caarna has demonstrated adequately about the light from within that causes inner darkness to dissipate away. In as much as I may not read it, I do appreciate your observations in this review.

A self-help book to broaden and strengthen an individual's spirituality...would require a person of any traditional religion to be determined to experience and learn from a mostly different perspective. Not sure I could adapt to the New Age philosophy included here but it might be an interesting read...at least to a point. Good review.

Your review was very helpful. I am not totally against new age spirituality, but it is not something that I would read about. Thanks for the review.

As I sampled this book, only reading the intro and the first chapter, it confused me more than really explained anything to me. Perhaps starting over again will help me to understand it better. However, your review, Eva Darrington, explained the spirituality to me that she was referring to. She talked about God, but in such an unusual way, that I was cautious to take anything too seriously until I read the whole story. It almost felt as if she was a soft-spoken lady gently luring us with her perfumed words into a world unknown to us to either trap us or show us something beautiful. Beware, I thought, as I see red flags popping up. I may read this eventually, though, who knows.

I’m afraid this book is not for me. Believing that one can influence the weather is a step to far for my credulity.

As much as I found your review to be very thorough and deep, books about spirituality and healing are not my cup of tea, so I’ll pass on this one.

I've only read part of the book, but I've enjoyed what I've read so far. I believe that we can learn valuable lessons from the most unexpected places.

As Caarna says, "Life is a journey of trial and error, of exploring, of experiencing to find our truth." (location 218).

Some people do not like the idea that we create our own reality, good or bad. It's a difficult concept to accept. Especially when we see bad things happening to good people.

I believe it's possible that it's a little more complex than that. It could be a combination of us creating our reality, and other people creating their realities, and when multiple realities collide there becomes a whole new reality that encompasses all of the realities. There lies the chaos, or not, depending on the realities that have collided.

It may be the reason for like minds spontaneously gathering together. It may be why being gathered together in one mind, one heart, and one spirit, that miracles can happen. At those times there is no chaos.

Sorry, I think your statement that "Caarna also teaches that we are the absolute creators of everything in our lives, the good and the bad.", got my mind going...lol

For clarification purposes I would like to say that what I stated about realities is not necessary what I believe. It's just a thought of possibilities that were bouncing around in my mind. I like to contemplate about things like this. There is more going on in the spiritual realm than what we realize.

I really enjoyed your review. I believe I'll enjoy the book as well. Even if I find that I don't agree with all of it. It will still be interesting to read about her experiences. 💕

The new age beliefs about spirituality has shattered our world of beliefs. We are walking manifestation, and we too have the ability to manifest. To create the good and the bad through thought. René is a particular example of idiosyncratic but willful person. Both qualities which wield true greatness

Thanks for your review! I'm glad that you enjoyed the book, but it doesn't seem like a good fit for me. I'm very skeptical of New Age religions and beliefs. It seems very suspect that the author has influence over the weather. I do agree that we should be grateful for all aspects of our lives, not just the good parts.

There are some aspects of this book that I agree with but the part about us being the absolute creators of good and bad things in our lives. I agree that love can be a healing force. Thank you for your very thorough review.
