Well, the title is an eye-catcher, so I suppose this book has that going for it. But a significant amount of poetry in a book not at all about poetry is certainly an odd choice.

Very detailed and informative review... Great job!
I'm so glad it was you and not me that read this book. I have strong feelings against what thoughts and possible actions the author is trying to convince readers to entertain from what I read in your review.
Being open minded in a relationship is someone's personal choice and I don't think it's altogether fair to want most or all relationships to be as the author suggests.
What's wrong with being monogamous and committed to one person for how ever long that relationship lasts?
Like you pointed out, there are many more defining issues that can be the reasoning behind a failed relationship apart from cheating!
Definitely not my type of book.

Thank you for this review. The title of the book was already offputting, even though I was somewhat interested in the subject matter. I do enjoy observing the discussions surrounding modern relationships, sexuality, monogamy, and such, but I do feel that they can go very wrong very quickly. I also feel as though these conversations are full of ill-informed opinions and weak scientific evident, lack very creative or unique opinions/justifications, and they often box out people who are not men or heterosexual. While I am somewhat disappointed that this book seems to fall into that category, I'd rather read a review and dodge the bullet than have picked up the book myself.

Just the title, "So what if another man screws your wife?" , indicates the target group the author seems to be targeting: Guys whose wives have been cheating.

If a man's (or woman's) love for his spouse is unwavering, then why would he be okay with his wife not returning the same kind of love?

Anger and jealousy are a natural response to sadness and betrayal of a spouse/partner. For this author to say that the betrayed spouse should embrace joy because the other is now "happy" is ridiculous. It invalidates the feelings of the betrayed person, and minimizes the former mutual investment into the relationship.

Thanks for the excellent review. Obviously I wouldn't read this book, if all the author wants to do is make unacceptable behavior okay!

Captivating title! My lecturer once told us that society norms and rules are there to be followed and not to be understood. Will actually read to find out more information that I really need. So informative. Great review!

What a book, and what a title! The review almost brings out the notion that the author just woke up one day and decided to do something controversial. His assertions are not backed by any solid evidence in terms of research. This is a book certainly NOT worth my read.
