I’m definitely not interested in religious books. Having read the Bible myself, I definitely imagine this book has probably left out a lot even if it is trying to make it easier to understand. Ultimately, this book just definitely isn’t for me, though I suppose it might be something others like like.

Thanks. The review did it all.
Even though i am a believer in a different religion, the importance of the Holy book and the simplicity with which the book is presented is nteresting. Divided in 52 weeks of a year and each week dealing with a specific topic, explained in clear simple terms with provision for full diretory, the book is made so comprehensible to readers for their physical spritual and emotional upheavals.
The book is a great companion for the christian followers of the author's doctrine.
The review also successfully pin pointed the flaws of the book, like the intra denominational differences of the christian faithfuls, the incoherence of weekly contents of the topics, the specificality of the book to christian faithfuls only besides minor typograpical erros which in all, do not deter the book from achieving its purpose.
The author's relationship with God and how it reflects in the book is also an impotant appetiser to the reader.
The book and the review deserve commendation.

I love the idea of daily devotionals. I would like it better if the weeks matched up with the liturgical seasons.

Despite being catholic, I’m not into religious books so I’ll skip this one. But the idea of a daily devotional is good and for sure can be a help to many people.

I'm not into religious books, but I like how this one is broken down into the 52-week format for readers to tackle their spiritual journey in manageable chunks. It's just too bad it wasn't as organized as you'd hoped. Glad you enjoyed it overall!

Although I'm not a Christian, I still enjoyed reading this book and the author's perspective in devoting to God. I love the fact that they found peace in it and the messages delievered are really inspiring.

It's great that Ms.Butler can try to ease the burden for Christians who want to find time for God's word but struggle to do so. Or, like myself, struggle to interpret God's word on their own. This sounds lovely despite the topics not staying on course each week. I could really use the wisdom of this devotional.

I appreciate you ur honest review on this book. I think Daily devotionals are a great way to get people more interested in studying the Bible. I also believe that each week should stick to one topic. That might keep me from reading this book.

It sounds like a good, structured study guide for those who need, or want, one. Personally, I have a slight issue with following another persons' interpretation of the translation(NASB), of the original translation(KJV), of the original transcripts(mostly Greek and Hebrew) the Bible was written in. Too many cooks in the kitchen.

I'm sure it will be a help to some people, but as for me, I'll just go to the source.

Juanita700 wrote: 17 Jun 2018, 14:39 The review is very good, but I wonder why it was rated three out of four instead of four out of four? This is my kind of book. I sense that this book is really from God.
I gave a rating of three out of four stars due to the fact that there were some errors in punctuation and editing. It states on the final page where we submit our review that a score of 4/4 should not be given unless it is perfect. Also, I did state in my review that there was some confusion as far as the precepts outlined in the beginning and the diversion that it took from that on many occasions that left this reader a little bit confused. I totally understand your point of this being inspired by God and that the author took her cues from Him, but my job as a reviewer is also to give my honest feedback of how I felt while going through the devotional. And, if you feel called to use this in your prayer and devotional time, then I would say it is just the fit for you. Thank you for reading my review.

What a great way to start the day with a verse from the Bible. The author's communication with God after each verse is short and to the point. I too would have liked each week to stay on one topic. Thanks for your great review.

While this type of book isn't of interest to me, I have many family members who have grown closer to God through their struggles and may enjoy something similar. It's too bad the readings each week weren't more related to the subject. I can see how that would be confusing or off-putting.

I won't call myself a religious person, to be honest I'm outright atheist, but even to me this book seems like a very good choice to study subject with at least some understanding.

I am a Christian but for some reason I do not like religious books very often. I do not think this one is for me.
