I don’t celebrate easter in my home country and religion. So I never decorate easter eggs. But after moving to a new country which easter is common, I think I need to learn decorating eggs as well even though I don’t celebrate it. It seems fun to do and I might need this book!

This could be a good guiding book for coloring Easter eggs. I used to dabble with paints, on canvass -- and even painting faces on Halloween -- the kind that could let you unleash your creativity. This book must be a DIY book for idle housewives that boast of some artistic talents. I might visit this book sometime. Thanks for the review.

When I first saw the title of the book I thought of the at-home Easter egg decorating that I have not done so well. Upon reading your review it is clear to me that this is on a whole different level. I can only think of the Faberge Eggs of Russia and the intricate designs of Asian art. I am eager to try these designs especially if there is a section about what not to do which for someone like me is crucial.

Haven't decorated an egg since high school when we were studying Faberge Eggs and their history. We had a choice of using real eggs (after emptying the contents) and egg-shaped foam from the craft store. The teacher even went as far as showcasing a past student's foam egg that was decorated with beads that could pass for real jewels.

I stuck with paint; the end result could've been better. Really enjoyed the ideas present within the book and would love to experiment with metallic paint and ribbons but that takes a steady hand; especially on a small surface. Can you imagine applying these techniques to chocolate eggs using edible paint and decorations?

I don't do crafts, and am not sure if I would decorate eggs, but I still found this book intriguing. From the sample on Amazon I could see the author's writing is professional and also easy to understand and the photos are gorgeous. I read your review to see how the quality carries throughout the book and it sounds fantastic and appealing. Thanks for the review!

I am not one to decorate eggs, not even with my children. I do know my daughter would love this books since she is very artistic and loves to be as creative as possible. Your review explains what the book is about in a simple way. Thank you for your review.

A friend of mine used to make these using the wax and 'stained glass' method. They are truly artistic works. I'm pretty into crafts, but so much time, creativity, and care goes into making each one it is mindboggling to even think about doing this myself. I would love to know how yours turned out! Thanks for the excellent review!

These aren't your normal Easter eggs. They are meant to be kept and displayed year after year. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD.
