The authors have done a great job in breaking down brain function and how best to work with one's traits in boosting productivity. They categorize the brain into three main parts: the reptilian (lizard), mammalian, and the human(wizard). Combine personal understanding of that and factors such as natural circadian rhythm and hormones, gives one a personal understanding of themselves. Quite intriguing. Thank you for a well-written review.

This sounds like a great book and as one of those people who always desire to understand how the human brain works, I think I will have to grab this boom and read it. Perhaps it will help me to be better by avoiding procrastination; something that I am very found of. many thanks for the insightful review.

This sounds incredible. I guess mornings are often not the best parts of my days either. I like the approach they took and made it simpler to understand every concept they are discussing. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the great thorough review. I think I would be bored with this book though personally!

I think this book is written for a fantasy world where life is routine and nothing ever happens to interrupt that routine. I just left a birthday party for my three year old grandson. Ask any of those Moms who just happen to work full time and get home just in time to change a poopy diaper what she thinks of the "lizard" idea and sleep...and they will either laugh in hysteria or cry as she recalls the fact that she hasn't slept a full night in three years...and has many more sleepless nights and crazy busy mornings to endure. So I think the author needs to include a chapter for moms and dads of newborns and toddlers!

This book sounds like exactly what i need to pull out a better version of me, and the fact that it seems mostly like a mental exercise first makes it better. Thanks for the review.

I like how the author associates brain parts and their functions with the characteristics of different animals, such as reptilian, mammalian, and human. It's easier to remember this way and learn how to harness the power of the brain. Nice review.

Great review! Thank you for sharing with us. I like that you point out that this book does not magically transform you into a morning person, but rather provide you with the tools to recognize how you can operate better throughout the day.
