I love exercise and wellness, but I rarely want to read books on the subject because I enjoy practice more than theory 😉 that being said, this book sounds like it could be relatable and worth a gander! Thanks for the review!

After reading the sample and then your review I was intrigued to read more so have downloaded the full book. I agree with your comments on the humor. Previously I have found books like this one too serious and this one seems much more light-hearted which kept me reading on. Well done on a great review!

With all of the conflicting advice regarding health and fitness, it can be difficult to determine what is true and what is false. According this review, the author tackles this issue by providing credible research and examples. Nutritional tips are also provided, which is a plus. It's worth taking a look at the information contained in this book. :techie-studyinggray:

Books about health and wellness are not my cup of tea. I will stick to my college professors, athletic trainers, and doctors for my health advice. Great review!

I'm not an avid reader of self-help/fitness books, but I do appreciate that the author shares his own experiences with readers. It sounds like he put a lot of good information in this book to help readers who are looking for the right path concerning their fitness and health.

As always, I'm a little skeptical about "another fitness book". However, this text seems to be more personable and an easier read.

Thanks for your review! With self-help and nonfiction books, I usually feel wary about reading them due to many of them lacking citations or the backing of research. I'm pleased to hear that this is not the case for this book and that the author included references for readers to consult. I really appreciate that the author defined unfamiliar terms like EPOC. You also brought up a great suggestion concerning the inclusion of illustrations. I know that I like to have a visual when trying to figure out different exercises and positions.

This looks like an interesting book on nutrition and fitness. I like that the book is delivered with humor even as he advises on what is fact or myth as far as our wellness is concerned. Thanks for the enjoyable review.

I think illustrations of the exercises mentioned would be good, too. But still, it sounds like the book wasn't lacking in helpfulness or readability without them.

It's nice when someone takes a subject that can be very confusing with so much information available, and breaks it down to relatable, understandable material. Great review!
