This seems like a wonderful book to read. I don't read alot of poetry, but the simplicity of these poems will make it easy to understand while inspiring readers to appreciate the important things in life. Congrats on the BOTD selection!

Wonderful poems that inspire, inform, entertain, and above all enlighten the reader. The themes of faith, family and love of country shine through the poems, giving a glimpse of the author's life. Thank you for a well-written review.

I don't read a lot of poetry, but I understand the draw of writing (and reading) poems that reminisce about the past, speak to the present, and encompass a range of emotions. I don't think I'll be reading this one, but it sounds like the author has created his own masterpiece. Thanks for the great review!

It is long since I read a collection of poems and today's BOTD is a welcome text. Thanks for the review.

I like thought-provoking books and so I feel that I'm certainly going to love this one. I also like the fact that faith and love are constant themes throughout the book. What I loved the most is how the poems connected with the reviewer, making the reviewer smile, laugh and even reminisce.

I appreciate that the author is dynamic with the subjects. It's a clear indication that he did his homework very well before writing these poems.

I love poetry so this definitely caught my attention. I'm not expecting to enjoy this very much, though, as the summary shows that it would involve religion and patriotism towards America.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. In general I am not really a fan of poetry, but after reading the first poem of this book and your review, I am intrigued. I will be adding this book to my reading list.

Poems are always being closer to my heart from childhood and this review has escalated my passion for reading the book. Since it gives an insight into the family concerns and their importance it will be great to enhance my brain with the knowledge. Thanks for the review :)

I have a love/hate relationship with poetry that makes me particular about what I will read, especially when it comes to the topic. I don’t think I would enjoy some of the topics covered in this collection, so I think I will pass. Others who like both poetry and these subjects might want to read it, though. Thank you for the helpful review.
