Thank you for your review. I have read a sample of this book so far. I liked her straightforward way of writing. If only history books had explained things this simply. I think hearing about racism from a black person will help those of us who haven't had to live through the exact same things to understand it better.

You wrote an excellent review, and while it looks like the author is extremely passionate about the subject material of the book, I think I will pass on this one for now as it isn't the type of book I usually enjoy. I also am assuming from the book summary that I and the author have drastically different political views. Therefore, I will pass on this one for now. Thank you for the informative review.

My Fellow Americans: I Am an Angry, Tired, Black Woman by Marjorie J. Frazier. This is a novel that shines more light on the history of America and its role in slavery and racism.

Marjorie J. Frazier is an African American woman who is a born citizen of America. She was born in the Late Baby Generation (1958 – 1964). Her grandfather was born when racism was at it's peak and had to pass through a lot to succeed. This was a time when minority races encountered mass racial maltreatment under the Jim Crow Laws. She witnessed some of this racial treatment throughout her life in America. She shares her view on the history of America right from independence through the American Civil War, and to the present day of Donald Trump and the 2020 election. Furthermore, she poured her heart out in words, and poems and also stated in detail the biography of some American presidents, slave traders, and abolitionists. Marjorie also explained why she is angry and tired as a black woman living in America.

This book is informative in its own way as it vividly states the history of America while also stating in detail the biography of the presidents and some influential people in American history. This made me enjoy the book. The author also put her thought and views into some aspects of the story to point out the racism involved in American history. All the details provided were well researched and accurate. The author also used a writing style that brings life into the book as she added various pictures of people mentioned and even documents stated in the book. The book also talked about current issues like Black Lives Matter, COVID-19, and the 2020 American Election.

White supremacist hate is at its worst today and is being promoted by GOP leadership in order for these politicians to stay in power. We are one country and minorities have as much right to be here as whites. This violence and political rhetoric needs to stop before we end up in another civil war. This author is right on target and the sad thing is so many people would rather hate than listen to the truth. I am a white man that truly believes we are all born equal no matter what color, creed or religion. I have friends that are minorities and all I see are wonderful people that love to help others. I wish the racists could be deported to Siberia!

This review stemmed my curiosity and made me interested in reading the book. It shows the author to be extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the material and writes it in a very concise and clear-cut way. The review also tells readers the amount of pages, and chapters, thereby allowing us to plan out our reading time a little better.

Every individual has their own views and opinions about American history, some maybe positive and some negative. It is good to have opinions but it is also good to be careful not to be quick to believing everything that is said.

A good showcasing of the history of America and its role in slavery and racism can be found in the novel "My Fellow Americans: I Am an Angry, Tired, Black Woman" by Marjorie J Frazier. The story follows Marjorie J. Frazier, an African American woman who faced many hardships due to racism. I think I should read this book soon.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Wow, the author must have did a good research when writing this one, and I agree with that racism still exist in America, I even thought that after having the first black president racism will stop but it didn't though today it has reduced not as compared to the time of our grandfathers. Am also happy that the author also talked about Covid-19, the world biggest enemy currently. Otherwise thanks for sharing this book and congrats on BOTD.

An absolutely great review! One gets a thorough idea of what to expect from the book which documents the struggle the black Americans had to endure through the brutality of racism right from when slavery was in existence to the present day. I'm looking forward to reading this book.
