Your review has heightened my curiosity. It sounds like one of those novels that draws you deep in so much that you don't want to take a break until you're done. A book that sticks with you for days or weeks. Thanks for sharing this

Life Is full of lots of unexpected situations which can turn out to be good or bad, however, we can only keep pushing toward achieving our goals. Can't wait to read it. Congrats on botd. Great review.

The Ortiz family definitely went through alot, leaving a life they knew for something better. The misfortunes that this family went through were disheartening, and I can definitely agree to the fact that certain pain requires time to heal before you can truly say you have forgiven, like in the case of Maria Santos and the children.
