The book does not align with my personal preferences, which is understandable. However, I appreciated the fact that Steve acknowledged his mistake and did not hold Morgan responsible. I find it admirable that Steve owned up to his error and took responsibility for his actions. As such, I valued the book for this particular quality.

In DeLorean’s Shadow

As the reader we are taken on a journey of a motivational speaker. One who spoke of drugs as a speaker, one who had a love life, one whose intention are to help someone else. He teaches us to embrace our shortcomings and to use them to guide others through out life. In spite of the shortcomings and pressures he put on others, he had really good qualities as well. I believe that we go through experiences not for ourselves but to simply help others. Congratulations.

Hi @Naushin Moledina, I really liked your comments on "In DeLorean's Shadow". This happened over 40 years ago and I did not remember the case but the sample and official review were fascinating and I purchased the book so I can read the entire story. Arrington had a good life going before he got involved in drug smuggling. I want to learn how the feds learned about Arrington's involvement and how he ended up getting a pardon from President Obama. Thank you. @Mrlefty0706

"In Delorean Shadow" by Stephen L. Arrington is a thought-provoking journey through time and identity, where the protagonist, Eliot, confronts the complexities of existence and the consequences of altering the past. Arrington's narrative is intricately crafted, blending elements of science fiction with philosophical inquiry.

One of the strengths of the novel lies in its exploration of time travel and its ethical implications. Arrington delves into the paradoxes and moral dilemmas inherent in altering the past, inviting readers to ponder the repercussions of tampering with history. Through Eliot's experiences, the novel raises questions about the nature of free will, the inevitability of fate, and the fragility of human agency.

Moreover, Arrington skillfully develops the character of Eliot, providing depth and complexity to his internal struggles. As Eliot grapples with his own identity and purpose, readers are drawn into his existential journey, empathizing with his desire for meaning amidst the chaos of time travel. The emotional resonance of Eliot's narrative adds a layer of depth to the novel, elevating it beyond a mere exploration of scientific concepts.

However, "In Delorean Shadow" is not without its flaws. At times, the pacing feels uneven, with certain sections dragging while others rush by. Additionally, some plot points may seem overly convoluted, requiring readers to suspend disbelief to fully engage with the story. Despite these shortcomings, Arrington's ambitious vision and philosophical depth ultimately make "In Delorean Shadow" a compelling read.

In conclusion, "In Delorean Shadow" is a captivating novel that challenges readers to contemplate the nature of time, identity, and human agency. Through its intricate narrative and well-developed characters, Stephen L. Arrington invites readers on a journey of self-discovery and philosophical inquiry that lingers long after the final page.

It's unfortunate that Steve found himself in the predicament he did but from the review, it seems like prison saved him from further crimes. And that's the lesser evil here. It's always interesting to read about experiences from a person who's been in prison. I love he made friends while he was there too.

:shifty: In Delorean's Shadow by Stephen Lee Arington narrates how life in prison is, the challenges that the prisoners have to overcome. This acts as an eye opener to someone that is involved in crime.

Hi @Loniya Chabili Mubanga, I receive emails when a member posts comments after my posting. I do not know why but I read the post and I learn from other members. I agree with you that Arrington really messed up a pretty good life by getting involved in drug smuggling. I am glad he turned to God for guidance and help. I purchased the book to learn more about the characters and how the feds learned of Arrington's involvement. He spent over 4 years in prison and he changed his life. The pardon he received from President Obama must have enabled him to become a speaker and I hope he has saved many potential drug users from ever getting involved. Thank you. @Mrlefty0706

Today's BOTD is an autobiography about Stephen Arrington's life, his incarceration, and the part he played in the DeLorean drug trial case. The book description and the official OBC review captured my interest in this book. I am eager to know what happened in Steve's life after he was unwillingly pushed into smuggling drugs by Morgan. Congratulations on the BOTD!
