A link between present and past of America is nicely highlighted in the book "America: Lost in Place" by Dr. Joe Brickner. The book showing how life has drastically changed in America over the past 70 years makes it interesting to read.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Thanks for the review! I do not read a lot of nonfiction, but a lot of readers would find this book enlightening, especially those who didn't live through the changes.

I would really want to read America: Lost in Place so that I can compare and contrast the different changes that have happened in the various sectors such as business, entertainment and technology industries from the '50's to date.

I like that America: Lost in Place gives readers an analysis of how life in America has changed since the fifties to current times. It's nice that the author shares his personal experiences growing up and that the book discusses over 17 areas of life.

Dr. Joe Brickner's thought-provoking and perceptive book America: Lost in Place provides a critical study of the current status of the United States. What a fascinating book that makes you think. We discuss advancements in our contemporary society frequently. The author has examined a wide range of life topics. It's intriguing to observe that morality and other key values are subtly declining, despite the enormous advancements in technology and other spheres of life. The book describes the current state of affairs in America and demonstrates how advancements in business, entertainment, technology, and the industrial sector have improved day-to-day living.I appreciate the wonderful review. Congratulations to the writer for BOTD!

This book offers a detailed glimpse into all-encompassing changes in American life and society over the last 70 years. The author, representing the influential baby-boomer generation, uses personal anecdotes and experiences growing up at the time. He skillfully adds to it with his detailed analysis of changes in 17 spheres of American society. Some of these changes are described in a negative light. As a result, with the author's self-help, spiritual background, he proposes healthy alternatives as solutions. This books' combination of sociology and spirituality is a positive, values-based tone.

Today's book provides a fascinating and thought-provoking analogy of how multiple aspects of human life have changed between the 1950s and now. Most of all, the author objectively weighs the pros and cons of these changes and provides his thoughts on them using accessible language.

This book reminds me of my Late Grandfather who always used to drop his words regarding this fast-growing generation and how it's affects are received. Dr. Joe Brickner's insights on change in time, innovative generations and people's morality is appreciable. In most of part this book continues you to reflect on how and to what we have grown. It's bitter truth to sense how moralities have been changing since decades and by the side how innovations have made lives so easy and miserable on other hand. The takeaways at the end of topics makes quite sense after reading the summary followed by recommendations.

"America: Lost in place" depicts the changes in social statuses morals most of these surrounded on the new and advanced technology, in the present life there are certain things we do that weren't there it weren't supposed to be done by all genders or in public places. We find that cases of immorality are on a rampant. Despite the book having only 166 pages it gives a wide cover of the differences in our ways of life that of 1960s and then that which is current. An certain this would be a great book for the old generation and also the present to learn about these changes in life styles.

In today's world, where everything is elevated to high standards, the author argues that moral values appear to have taken a downward turn. This, the author contends, poses a threat akin to the historical consequences faced by the Jews when their moral compass faltered.

The personal anecdotes from the author's upbringing add a delightful touch to the review. The humor in recalling shared "party lines" is both nostalgic and amusing. The organized structure, including takeaway sections and a summary table, demonstrates a thoughtful presentation that enhances the reading experience.
