Schramm sounds inspiring as he pursues his passion down to the end, while engaging in interesting fields of work. I especially want to read his experience while working in a Waste Management, Inc.

A great and detailed review. This comprehensive in-depth memoir seems to be instructive and motivational. Schramm’s dedication to diligence and his passion towards to achieve his purpose. It is admirable the importance of Schramm's contributions to policy reform and environmental protection. The addition of political and historical background gives the story a lot of complexity making the book interesting. Like a guide, it helps people's inner motivation to find their life purpose. Schramm adopts a practical and pragmatic approach with his personal experiences in this book. "Passionate Purpose" is a must-read for anyone who is ready to begin with their life with passion to reach their potential.

“Passionate Purpose” by Jack J. Schramm is a memoir of Jack Schramm’s life in public service. His public career began when he was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives. He details every step in the process of his political life. He went from the state level to the federal level when the Carter administration appointed him to the Environment Protection Agency. When Carter lost re-election, he needed to find a new career and ended up joining Waste Management and eight years later he became an international consultant. He was successful at the state, federal and international levels. A very interesting story.

Schrramn seems like such a wholesome person to read about. Doing something about his dissatisfaction with his job rather than sulking or resigning to endure it, is a value we can all learn.
