I can't imagine how hard it must be for Penny to endure sexual abuse. The trauma of this experience detrimentally impacts her sexual life later. Thank you for the thorough review.

Many things mentioned in this review resonate with me. Everyone makes mistakes, but don't let those define you. Build resilience to carry on. Sex education at an early age, especially for girls, is important. Thank you for the insightful review.

In addition to sharing her personal experience, the author of "Developing Resilience" imparted to readers a crucial lesson about overcoming challenges in life.
Wonderful story, and congrats to the author for having the courage to share her experience and inspire others to never lose sight of their goals despite life's obstacles.

It's inspiring and amazing that the author was courageous enough to overcome all her challenges and even write a book about them. It indeed shows resilience. However, I don't read nonfiction, so I'll skip this book.

Knight's courage to reveal her abuse story marks her as an exemplary person. Her courage can be an object of inspiration for other survivors who are seeking their own healing journeys. Congratulations on #BOTD!

I'm always open to read about individuals life experiences, especially those that are about thriving after hardships. The authors story is filled with lots of painful moments but she knows that putting this out there will give readers that they are able to come out on the other side anew. Congrats to the author for having the BOTD.

Adverse childhood experiences (ACE) and ongoing trauma can have devastating effects far into adulthood. Resilience is an important objective and how to live by it can be challenging. In her book, "Developing Resilience" by Penny Christian Knight, the author tells her story. The reviewer did a great job in describing why the reader could want to pick up this book. One thing I hope that happened is that the author was able to leave the toxic relationship that she had with her husband and that she was able to save her children from the adverse effects that were surrounding them

Congratulations on the BOTD award. The title of the book looks appealing. I surely want to read this novel. Resilience must be inculcated so that we can face our adversities. Then only we will emerge strong.

I don't think I can fully enjoy this book because it contains too many triggers for me. I understand that it's about resilience and how people can learn to push and survive some of the most horrible circumstances in life. It touches on sensitive topics like emotional and sexual abuse. It's because of those themes that I've decided that I'm not the right fit for it. I will recommend it to the right audience such as lovers on nonfiction and people who've overcome great trials or would want to learn how to. Congratulations on BOTD

Penny's tough life and how she turns around to overcome it and not let it define her life can be helpful and inspiring to any woman out there who is going through the same. "Developing Resilience" is a good read on how to navigate through a tough life. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

It narrates the writer's own life until age 33, paying major attention to the obstacles she found with sex abuse and her eternal search for affection and spirituality. Congrats on #BOTD!
