I managed to read more than a free sample offer and enjoyed the read. Normally, I like memoirs but this one carries a touchy writing style. No wonder the author wrote about her experience, so the flow of ideas and emotions is smooth and easy to follow.
Thank you for the enlightenment review.

In this book, the author shares the emotional rollercoaster involved in her quest to find her birth parents and learn about her origins after 55 years. While I understand that finding one’s birth parents is often a personal decision and I value the author's story, I am of the opinion that people should live their lives independently of their birth parents, especially if the parents made the decision to give them up at an early age—in this case, at birth. Thank you for the detailed review. Congratulations to the author for being selected for Book of The Day.

I cannot imagine how out of place Rosie must have had to endure for 55years. 'Finding Closure' by Rosie Norman-Neubauer is definitely going to be an interesting read.

The memoir reads like a journal, an overwhelming amount of emotions put into words which can be felt through the book. It can be a lot to fathom a new family and a new environment, however l'd have loved the book even more if slight structuring was done to it, in order for the reader to get the gist of the happenings in the book. The review has given the expectations to be attached to the book, hope it rests well while reading. The themes of an individual's resilience, personal growth and the journey to find their true identity are oblivious, l would like to read the undertones and figure out what all rests beneath the surface for the reader to admire.

Finding Closure by Rosie Norman-Neubauer -It has an emotional journey into the mental aspects of adoption by good parents but the roots are questionable due to the blood family similarities and mannerisms

Rosie was adopted at birth and this heart-felt memoir narrates her quest to reunite with her birth family. The book is eye-opening and reveals the inner turmoil that adoptees face. It's educational and will be a great resource for parents or caregivers of adopted children. The author's immersive writing will keep readers glued.

It sounds like Finding Closure is an incredibly moving exploration of identity and family—one of those memoirs that’s not only personal but speaks to something universal, especially for anyone who's ever felt like they’re on the outside looking in. I think it's rare to find a book that can so openly share the reality of meeting family you've never known, where the joy of connection mingles with the hard truths of reality.

Rosie Norman-Neubauer’s honesty seems refreshing and brave, especially given the lifelong emotional weight tied to questions of belonging and ancestry. It’s inspiring to see her journey described as a "celebration of resilience." The idea that she could find a sense of self not only through family but by reclaiming her own narrative really resonates. This book might be just as impactful for anyone who’s struggled to feel "at home" in their own life, whether they've faced adoption or not. Definitely sounds like a five-star read to me with a lot of depth!
