I think it is important that you mention the book is not intended to replace medical help if necessary! Not everyone is able to easily follow the advice in a self-help book if they suffer from certain mental health issues.
And worse yet, they might follow an advice to their own detriment. Thanks for commenting.

I was just looking at the book's cover and wondering whether the mind is a map, or compass. Or, is the mind map and the heart compass? Anyway, ramble ramble!

I have enjoyed your review. I like that instead of casting our personalities in stone, the book offers practical solutions on how to achieve a better personality thus giving opportunity to always improve on who we are.

Great review!

This book can be of help to all who desire to understand their mind better in order to have healthier relationships with others. But it should not be used as a replacement for the services of a medical professional in serious cases.
I like your insight; it's admirable you thought of this other perspective, and chose to advise potential readers accordingly. This is quite comprehensive a review.

Given the complexity of the subject, it's a talented author who is able to address it in simple language. You said it was written as a dialogue between two people, was the author being interviewed or was the other person someone knowledgable about the subject as well? Self-help books are not my favorite genre, but learning about the mind does sound interesting. Thanks for the intriguing review!

We have to control our emotions and have a sound understanding of one's psychology. This is essential to maintain mental fitness. Therefore, this book is invaluable in modern times where mental illnesses are very common. I'm sure I'll learn something new from it. So, thanks for the insightful review.
