Expertise and personal experience in a subject tend to make for an interesting book, and it sounds like this book had a good blend of the two. The ten mains points after chapters sound like a really helpful and fantastic way to re-cap key takeaways so that people are able to remember the material better and are also able to refer back to the summarized points without having to re-read the entire chapter. Sounds like a really interesting book! Thanks for the review.

What a fabulous book! It's quite admirable for a grandparent to step up to the plate and take on raising kids. I like that the author adds important tips at the end of each chapter to show what worked for them. Thanks for the great review.

I know that many grandparents like raising their grandchildren but not when it's due to the death of the child's parents. This might really help those grandparents and everyone who has got to take up that painful reality. Thanks for such a book.

I haven't even kids, but this is the kind of book to recommend to grandparents in situations such as the ones listed in the book to help them deal with their grandkids. Thank you for your great review!

The book seems very helpful for someone like me. I am young and freshly new parent, and it seems like some tips could help me by raising my child, or to make something more easily. I like that there are more positive things, besides those sad happenings

I guess this book to many may come in a low key but it is just a blessing that it can address pertinent issues of which few are certain about!!!

I loved how the author has shared her experiences to help and motivate other people, especially, grandparents to raise their grand-kids. The thought behind writing this book is worth appreciating. Thanks for the well-structured review.

The tips and real life stories on raising your grandchildren by an author who happened to be raising his grandchildren following in an unfortunate circumstances. The advices provided in the book has more importance and weightage because the author has first-hand experience other than the research details and the valid points provided in the book. These tips and advices shared by the author can be quite helpful, not only for grandparents who are currently looking after grandchild but also for any parent, elderly person or educators as a whole. The reason being that they cannot have the same mindset when they raise grandchildren because the times have change compared to the times when they raise their own children. Your review is descriptive and very well written! :tiphat:

There are several reasons why grandparents might have to raise their grandchildren. This book seems helpful for those situations. We're about to give birth to our first child and this book seems a little to scary for me to read right now.
