I love the author's enthusiasm for historical accuracy, however,this is certainly not a light read and would consequently prove unappealing to me. As you suggested,those looking for hardcore historical non-fictions would probably find it suitable. Thanks for the informative review!

This seems like it would be a good book to skim through. I am somewhat of a history nerd, but too many details at once can be overwhelming. However, I believe I would delight in the photographs, and the photos would probably drive me to read more of the text. Thanks for your thoughts on this one.
