I'd say those words describe the book well enough - a highly recommended read.

Thanks for dropping by! Sounds like this is a great book for you. Do check it out!robinburtch wrote: ↑26 Jul 2019, 13:32 I am completely captivated by WWII history. I've read so many books, written school papers & watched countless documentaries on this war. This book sounds like a totally different perspective & I look forward to reading more into this. Thanks for a good review.

I agree. I think doctors and nurses are heroes, regardless of whether they render services during peacetime or wartime. Invisible Heroes brought to light some amazing stories of both combatants (soldiers, trainees, spies) and noncombatants (engineers, code-breakers). Though the medical professionals were not the focus of the stories, I imagine they'd be on the same boat as any of the noncombatants - always working and moving with their lives on the line.BookPower9 wrote: ↑27 Sep 2019, 07:07 Are there a Doctors or a Nurses mentions in Invisible Heroes? These are people included in the war. Would not be this people be called also as Heroes? I can't imagine how they gave their services just to apply medical treatment for those who are injured and wounded soldiers. And I'm pretty sure that much of them didn't even sleep for 24 hours rendering their services. And yet every stories of war only Soldiers had especial mention. Or maybe most of them are Soldiers and Doctors at the same time? I don't know? Anyway, you have a nice review! Thanks.
Thanks so much for dropping by!
