I've always felt that books that are titled with a simple name to be mysteriously ominous in a way. You know the instant you read the book, that character is going to deeply affect you in some way, and it seemed like this novel succeeded in that. While I'm not Christian, I still find this interesting. Spirituality comes in many forms and helps many people heal.

This is very true. Helps puts things in perspective, doesn't it?

Beautifully said. Like you, I don't need to share the beliefs of an author to be able to see that they benefitted from them. Also, LOL, love your assessment of a book as mysteriously ominous when titled by a single name. I never thought of that before! :D

Cynthia must be a very strong woman to have survived such a tumultuous life with her grace and faith intact . Thanks for the awesome review!

Sometimes tragedy can jeopardize one's relationship with God. It takes humility and courage for one to realize that God is loyal at all times. The book seem to have a lot of life lessons that we can learn from. I might consider the book. Thanks for your informative review.

The tendency of texting while driving is on high alert off late, this due to the easy access to phone. I would really want to go through this book as soon as possible. It'll be really enjoyable.

Thanks for taking the time to read the review. The book certainly gives a glimpse of a life very different from many of hours. I really respect what she has made of her life, despite having a rough beginning.

Teen pregnancies, alcoholic husbands, ultimate redemption, and a dash of humor thrown in for good measure! Now this sounds like a worthwhile read. Thanks for another lovely review!
