I hear you. I have the same feelings about poetry, but this book sounds perfect to improve my impressions. Thank you for the useful recommendation!

This book seems to be intriguing. However, I didn't flow with it because I'm not an avid lover of poems. Lovers of such genres would find it worth reading.

I've always thought of poetry as a sophisticated form of art that requires genius intelligence for its better interpretation, but such a book makes poetry less intimidating and more enjoyable to read. Can't wait to read it and begin my journey of poetic enlightenment!

That’s quite interesting - a book that teaches us how to appreciate poetry. Some might think it is something which should be ‘felt’ rather than understood, but I believe that this little book will help readers get the most out of it. Thanks for the comments.

The book begins uniquely, by the author starts answering questions about poetry. Its relevance and the need to study it. The review is good. Thank you.

This book provides the reader with the tools to grapple with the difficulties and fascinating challenges that richness and complexities poetry presents. Authour's 12 commandments are insightful with interesting humour interspersed. A well written book with exercises and solutions included. The book review is good. Congratulations on the BOTD!

I am totally intrigued by this book. I am eager to read about the author's 12 commandments. I write poems now and then, but I don't follow any rules. Maybe I should.

Most people see poems and poetry interpretation as a very tedious task. The author has done a great job by explaining what poetry is and how to understand peotry. The author didn't just focus on providing detailed explanation about present peotry, but also included the peotry of the past, thereby making the understanding of peotry both past and present within the reach of the reader.
