This seems like a great book, but not something I would read because of how emotional it is. I have seen my friend my friend's mom slowly fading away after the death of her daughter. She is just an empty shell now, barely existing even after 8 years, so I won't be reading the book. But I admire the author for putting her story out there, and trying to help others understand their grief.

I can't even imagine the pain of losing a child. This is just so heartbreaking. I think this is extremely important that books like that appear. I don't know if it is even possible to get any relief after such a drama, but I'm sure it can be helpful at least to some degree to those in need. Thank you for a great review.

This novel is just gem. It focuses on the pain of losing a loved, a son. And the aftermath. I am intrigued to see how the author lived through such adversity.

I've no children (yet). So, it's impossible for me to fully comprehend the author's pain. And it's impossible for the author to recover fully from this trauma. But I hope sharing her experiences has made her stronger.

I could almost picture the author's thoughts as she wrote the book. It's as though she just transfered her heart on paper. I just appreciate the sincerity of how heartfelt the book is. This is a great review for a great book. I just hope she finally finds solace.

I couldn't even begin to imagine losing a child, nor would I know where to start in the grieving process, so I can see where this book can be useful to a lot of people.

Losing a child is one of the most unbearable griefs one can experience in life. I love the way Sherine speaks out for the silent parents particularly mothers who are indeed fighting with this grief. The book is authentic !

I truly can't imagine the pain parents has to go through when a child's lost. It can't be expressed just by words. I really salute the authors' courage to write it down so that many parents who are suffering the pain could somehow overcome it. I will definitely try this gem.
Very nice review

The loss of a child is heartbreaking, and in this book the author describes her own personal loss in a very natural and gentle way. I think this can be of help to a lot of people that are struggling as they go through the loss of a loved one. I liked the illustrations that appeared between the narrative.

When you hear the word absolute love and sadness overlaps with it, there is tragedy and sadness that a broken heart goes through, but from my understanding of the review, holding on to hope is one of the most beautiful ways to survive in life. Lines through it are sadness and hope. Congrats Botd. :!2:
