Solo mom's are tough and strong and it's nice to see a book that reflects that.

Good, a different subject and inspiring book on the lives of solo moms. The series of stories of Grit, Heart, and Humor, really motivate readers to change one's perspective of looking at them.
Nice review, That Reviewer. Thanks.

Who has the most important, difficult, and fulfilling job in the world? Mothers, of course! I don't have any kids of my own, but I'm really looking forward to reading today's BOTD! It's filled with stories and poems from 75 single mothers who represent various walks of life, ethnicities, and religions. Their unique situations will bring a wide array of emotions to readers, but most importantly, they give a voice to those who, all too often, go unacknowledged for their hard work and dedication their children. These are their stories. :-)

Thank you for the amazing review!! Great work!!

This looks like a lovely book. It's not one that I personally would select to read, but I am going to get it for my girlfriend, herself a single mother of a special needs son. Perhaps we will read a section together each evening and share our thoughts on how her life is comparable to each of the observations within. Thank you for an excellent review, and congratulations to the editors for bringing it all together.

I cannot wait to read this! I was a solo mom for five years and it was the absolute hardest time of my life. Kuddos to the author for getting these stories out there so people can be aware of the struggle it takes to be a solo parent. Great review!

It's unlike me to read the title of a book and get sold instantly. We Got This: Solo Mom Stories of Grit, Heart, and Humor by Marika Lindholm, Cheryl Dumesnil, Domenica Ruta, and Katherine Shonk is quite intriguing. The title itself speaks volume. In that case, will add it to my reading list. Congratulations to the author on the BOTD. Great review!

Wow ! Definitely a need of the hour book as solo moms are a common scenario these days ! Haven't read the book but the title itself seem to reveal a lot about the positivity the book has to offer. A great review indeed.

It's nice that the book is on neutral ground; it doesn't paint the dads in a bad light.

This is a subject close to my heart as my mother was widowed when I was 8 years old. she kept us together in our home at great cost to herself by working long hours running a nursery for 2 to 5 year olds and fostering other children with us for little financial reward. We had a warm and loving home with lots of funny stories to tell. So I would love to read this book to hear the stories of other Mothers in similar situations.

I never knew that being a single mother was a bad thing. But it's nice to know that there's a community dedicated to encouraging single moms around the world.
All mothers deserve respect whether single or married. I enjoyed the sample that I read and even more your review on this book.
