This is an interesting and relatable non-fiction memoir highlighting alcoholism, domestic abuse, guilt, growth, faith, and lessons to guide the readers to better themselves. The book is free on Kindle Unlimited and has an amazing OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD.

Looks like a classic autobiography of a person, Dee J.C, inspiring readers about life lessons. Her childhood in alcoholism and domestic abuse, followed by her young age personal substance abuse, and lastly, in the older phase, she focuses on her faith in God. I liked the confession by the author, "Sometimes our greatest enemy is ourselves, our attitudes and our false beliefs." Yes, it proves true when we undergo self-realization and work on inner instinct.
Great review, Mounce574. Thanks.

I can't believe that I suffer from codependence due to my avoiding issues. I am quite educated and would definitely read this. Congrats to the book of the day.

Books that reflect directly on the life of its readers is one worth reading. It's amazing that the author's life is relatable and readers get a chance to improve their lives too. Congratulations on becoming today's BOTD.
Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

"Sometimes our greatest enemy is ourselves, our attitudes, and our false beliefs." This is relatable for sure. I can see how this book can be very easy to read and understand. Good job with the review.

Even though I am not a fan of autobiographies, I must say that this is an interesting one. It includes stories to help one improve low self-esteem.

This is one of the most powerful reviews I have ever read. It shows the immediate impact a book like this can have, how readers get value out of it, how it makes readers think and act. I appreciate the author sharing her life story, and the reviewer sharing personal elements to demonstrate the support this book can give.
