Yasmira_M wrote: 01 Oct 2020, 04:30 I believe this book should be read by all parents especially African parents who don't believe in expressing emotions to their children. The mother-daughter bond is such a special one, but it's sad how most people lose sight of that.
Well said, the bond in the family works a great deal to influence a child's social skills, yet, it is not often taken much care of. Rather, parents would spend a lot on tuitions when they should invest in building a relationship.
Feeling upset sometimes may be unavoidable, but acting distressed is always optional.

From reading what I just read I believe this book would help a lot of parents now. This book probably could fix a lot of relationships and bonds between moms and daughters. This book could help us as females be more in touch wit one another and how to approach each other better

This book sounds interesting. I might even read it. Who knows, the information might come in handy someday. Good job, Patrick Maina.

I read this book and it just didn't seem to work in all situations. I agree with the core values but somewhat letting a child disrespect their parent isn't a way to open communication.
