This book is amusing and entertaining. I liked the perspective from each of the three characters, each with their own witty personality. It helps women look at the problems of dealing with age, especially with the ancient male, and look at life with a little humor. They also highlight the importance of female friendships and camaraderie.

I enjoyed your review. This book sounds like an entertaining and escapist book on the humorous side of aging. It sounds like there is some helpful and practical advice as well on topics that are not always mentioned like dex and finances . It is good for people not to feel alone in their struggles with aging (male) partners. It is helpful to add some humour to a time of life that can be depressing. The authors are straight talking.

Today's BOTD is filled with advice, humor, and solutions that will be thoroughly enjoyed by women readers who have aging men in their lives. In addition to feeling like you're chatting w/your besties, the best part is the information is shared by 3 different women with distinct personalities, making this a book that all readers will enjoy. Thank you for your review! I can't wait to start reading this one! :-)

It is interesting and educational to read about the authors ideas on aging 'humans' and their relationship issues, as well as friendships (support groups). I like it that the book tackles real life problems in a light-hearted way. Through this book the author lets the reader know that there are millions of other older couples going through the same situations. Men were always from Mars...even the aging ones. :lol2:

The review is well detailed and I would like to read the book myself as it sounds great. It has addressed on matters of aging couples and more so dwells much on the male side. It however gives solutions though in a humorous manner but are applicable.
