I have heard of the Peace Corps, but I don't know any details about the program. This book might interest people who enjoy memoirs, but I'm not fond of them, so I'll be skipping it. Great review though!

I find the "Peace Corps Program" interesting. Aspects such as language barriers and social challenges are crucial when someone emigrates or visits another country. It is striking the intriguing experiences that the author can offer. I'm interested in the Natural Language Approach program, I'd like to take a look at it.

This could be a fascinating or interesting read for those that are interested in the Peace Corps, or wonder about visiting Thailand. It is unfortunate that the book was not professionally edited, as that can be disconcerting for some.

A memoir that includes a love story and peace corps program seem like an interesting read to me. Although the grammatical errors are a kind of turn off. Awesome review though.

Also, I was captivated by the Natural Language Approach program (Automatic Language Growth) discussed in this book. This technique is believed to help adults to learn a new language. I am excited to try this approach.
That's fascinating. Language acquisition is a complex topic, especially in adults, but it's also a socially meaningful one, such as in the case of immigrants and refugees. I also think it's enriching to learn about different cultures, and this memoir provides such an experience.
Thank you for your enthusiastic review!

This sounds like an interesting memoir. Sometimes the use of pictures can really help me have a better understanding of what I am reading, so I am glad the author incorporated pictures into the book! Thanks for the informative review!

I like how the author described various types of restrictions such as language barriers, corruption, and societal challenges. It is commendable that the book also includes love between James and a certain Thai girl.
