This book and its topic don't particularly appeal to me, and it's more aimed at US residents. But some people might find it valuable and useful. Thanks for your review!

I am still relatively young and retirement isn't on my radar since right now I'm focused on young children, but this book looks like one my husband would love. He loves to run the numbers and figure out retirement savings and investing. It looks like a very informative book!

From Savvy Saver to Smart Spender by Daniel W. McDonald taught me how important it is to not only save, but also to know how to spend wisely when the time comes to retire. The author shows us how to plan our finances so that we can enjoy our savings without worries, avoiding common mistakes such as not considering taxes or not balancing saving with spending. He learns that it is not about saving as much as possible, but about finding a balance that allows for a comfortable life, even after stopping work.

It is a useful guide that makes me see the importance of managing resources well and making informed decisions, especially when it comes to ensuring a smooth retirement. It definitely made me think beyond the simple act of saving.
