What a strange title for a book. "George Washington Dealmaker-in-Chief" by Cyrus A. Ansary follows the life of Washington with a particular focus on his life after the Revolutionary War. The fact that this historical biography detailed what led Washington to pursue a life of service to his country, and key statements and excerpts from historical figures makes it a credible read.

Thanks for the detailed review. I didn’t know George Washington had such a strong business side or that he played such a big role in shaping the U.S. economy after the war. It’s interesting to learn how much he achieved outside of just being a military leader. The part about his close bond with his older brother and how that influenced him really stood out to me. Sounds like this book goes beyond what we usually hear about Washington and shows a fuller picture of who he was. Definitely adding this to my reading list.

Having read "Odyssey of High Hopes" and found it interesting, I have no doubt "George Washington: Dealmaker-in-Chief" will be just as captivating. I look forward to exploring Washington’s leadership, vision, and lasting impact on America’s foundation. Congrats BOTD!

This review paints a compelling picture of the book.
The book seems to stand out for its meticulous documentation, reliance on primary sources, and the author's ability to shed new light on Washington's skills and relations. Maybe not for me but it will appeal to fans of american history. Congrats on BOTD.

Very interesting read. The book offers a fresh and insightful look at america's first president- not just as a military leader or statesman, but as a skilled economic thinker and pragmatic dealmaker.
It is a thoughtful and original perspective of George Washington's legacy- both patriotic and entrepreneurial.

Great review! I don't think many people know much about George Washington. They don't know who the man was, his personality, or his wisdom. This book will give them a good description of the man who became our first president.

*George Washington Dealmaker-in-Chief* sounds like a really interesting book. I didn’t know Washington played such a big role in building the U.S. economy. From what I’ve read, the book gives a detailed look at his life, especially after the war, and shows how he helped create a system that encouraged business and innovation. It seems like a great way to learn more about him beyond just being the first president.
