After studying this review I am most definitely going to read the book "America: Lost in place". I find it intriguing, how the author manages to discuss this many aspects in just 166 pages. The topic of this book is fascinating to me. I love the way we learn about America back in 1950. It is knowledge that we all need but most of us lack. :D

Great review! When it comes to such a vast topic as the transformation/evolution of America, there are so many different facets and POVs to be looked at and that are worth analyzing. It’s one thing to claim that things could and need to be better, but it takes genuine love and care to put in the effort to make any of that actually happen. Hopefully, this book is an encouragement to take those steps forward into making a difference.

Thank you for your insightful review on "America: Lost in Place" by Dr. Joe Brickner. Being born in the 50's and growing up in the 60's I can really relate to this book. As the author has stated there are lots of changes that are not so good, i.e, morality and entertainment. No matter what time you are watching television, you risk seeing something inappropriate for children. I am looking forward to reading this book to see what the author has to share about the changes in American life. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

Technology is a double-edged sword. This story speaks the effect technology advancement has on our day to day life. The more we misuse it the more it will strike back. Rapid decline in moral values can also be seen all over the country. Although the things we take for granted were not available in olden days they had a much healthy, happy and secure life as compared to us. Congrats on BOTD.
