This sounds interesting, but often "Christian" principles, the idea that the government (or somebody) is trying to get rid of Christian schools, and other things mentioned, have a certain political leaning. I'd be curious to know if there are overtones of that in this book.

Thanks for a well-written, insightful review. Like the above poster, I'd be interested to know if there is any political bias evident in the book.

The author says, "It seems that there is a movement in America to eliminate Christian schools," based on his experiences. But he doesn't attribute this to a particular political party.

Kappy, thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thorough review of my book. You did a wonderful job and I appreciate your time and effort.

Is there any way you can carry this review over to the book's listing on amazon?

I usually do not like nonfiction books, but this one looks pretty interesting. As a Christian, I feel like I will be able to relate to some of the ideas discussed in the book. Thank you for providing such a quality review, I will make sure to put this on my to-read list!

@Kappy , I'm sorry I flipped out. I feel bad about it now. I really was attacking the author way moreso than you. I understand your 4-star rating since the book is well-written and organized and fluent. I don't want to seem like a hypocrite, because I know that on other reviews, I've gotten mad at writers' opinions being trashed, what with our country having free speech, and all. And I DO grant Mr. Flynt his free speech. Do I think he's a horrible person? Yes, he probably is. Do I grant him the right to express his views? Yes, that's what our country is founded upon.

Anyway, for what it's worth, this is the only push-button issue I've ever had. It's my Kryptonite. Sorry again.

No problem. This world would be quite boring if we all agreed on everything.

Thanks for the kind words. There are numerous fascinating nonfiction books out there, along with numerous boring ones. If you expend a little effort, I'm confident you will find many outstanding nonfiction books suitable for your tastes.

Yes, it would be boring indeed! Great review, by the way!
