zeldas_lullaby wrote:Great review. It gave me a good feel for this booklet. We have a broad spectrum of beliefs in today's world, that's for sure! I doubt I'd score very high on her test! So, God juice is like a charge, like capturing the Holy Spirit? Interesting concept... it sounds a little weird and off-putting, though (the term God juice). :o

Well done! You did an excellent job on this review. I have a better understanding of what this book is like. I would like a better relationship with God, but I don't like it when people are judgmental of others. In my opinion, God's the only one that should do the judging, and showing judgment towards others definitely won't help them want to do any sort of changing in their lives. For that reason, I don't know if this particular book is for me. Thanks for the great review and better understanding of this book.

This was a great review! It seemed to capture the point the author was trying to make and the following questions in the comments provided great clarifications. Also, (and I'm a little bit new here, so maybe this happens more than I think it does) it's wonderful to hear how the author reacts to the review. It's great knowing that these reviews are important and to hear the author's side as well.

Great review hun! I don't know much about the Kabbalah, but this sounds interesting and might be an interesting read. Thanks for sharing.

The review of The How, What and Why of Talking to God is well-written. It may have been more appropriate to use the term "God energy" than "God juice." I have not read the book, and don't intend to because there doesn't seem to be a "definition" of the "God" the author is "talking" to. We tend to apply human characteristics to the ethereal universal Spirit that dwells within us, as occurs in the Bible where there God is often referred to as He or Him. I don't "pray" or "talk to God" whom I prefer to refer to as our Creator or Intelligent Designer. I rely upon my Higher Self ("God") to guide or admonish me, and it works for me. At 94, I have finally achieved the kind of Peace of Mind that most of us strive for. Frank Sganga
