Growing up without a mother can pose significant challenges, and having numerous siblings can also have its impact. Such is life, and reading about this personal experience can be quite emotional. However, I commend the author for sharing both the positive and negative aspects of their upbringing with us.

I get the impression from the review that this book will take me on an emotional rollercoaster. Losing a mother at such a young age is difficult. All I can say is that I'm happy Phoebe had the chance to raise her kids well.
