I have never looked at plumbing from this perspective, and it is truly an eye opener. The advancement of technology comes with its disadvantages. This is a well-written book. Congratulations on the book of the day.

As someone who takes the plumbing in their home for granted until there is a crisis, this book is a real eye-opener and makes me appreciate my plumber more. Thank you for your informative review.

Thank you for your great review. This sounds like a book with a lot of knowledge to be learned. I'm glad you enjoyed it and appreciate knowing it tells about the pros and cons of different types of pipes and having them installed. This is a timely subject for me right now, especially living in an older home. I have added it to my list of books to read.

I am a do-it-yourself guy. I have done a fair amount of plumbing in my house and have never hired a plumber. I also revere the sanctity of water and find it unfathomable that many native peoples communities in Canada do not have access to clean drinking water. For these reasons, i am keenly interested in this book and the information it has to offer.

I'm not interested in this topic, but I can see how do-it-yourselfers would like it. This is not really my kind of book, but I think my husband would enjoy it. Congratulations on Book of the Day!

I never thought about plumbing this way! It’s interesting how the author breaks down the science, hazards, and even the legal side of it while also defending plumbers. The mix of humor and real facts makes it sound like an eye-opening read, especially for anyone who owns a home or constantly deals with plumbing issues.

"The Truth About Plumbing" by Avram Friedman explores modern plumbing’s hidden disadvantages, science, and practical aspects. It covers plumbing hazards, materials, installation, and plumbers’ challenges. Engaging and humorous, it educates homeowners, tenants, and students on making informed home maintenance choices. Congrats BOTD!

The book comes highly recommended by the review. A plumber is among the essential professionals we need often. I am interested in learning what plumbing entails beyond the basics understanding as well as the uniqueness of water in relation to both science and spiritualism. I appreciate the beautifully crafted review of "The Truth About Plumbing" by Avram Friedman."

This book is interesting because in our home's the water System occasionally requires a plumber and the book discusses several plumbing sectors as well as the inevitable drawbacks of modern plumbing, simplifying the subject as much as possible. The author also make it spparent that they are not opposed to advancement.

This book provides a unique, educational, and entertaining viewpoint from a plumber himself. There are hundreds of feet of vulnerable pipes that are likely to break at some point, and people in denial are placing the blame on the plumbers. Undoubtedly, that seems like a fascinating read.

I never thought that reading about plumbing would be so interesting. It certainly woke the scientist in me and I was reminded that all things have a reason, every problem has a solution, every mistake can be corrected if we are able to acknowledge there is one. And yes, I loved the dash of allegory and spirituality in there!

I think the review outlines perfectly what the book is about. It details how the author arranged the information and used relevant diagrams to make a great read about plumbing. A well-written review.
