The review is well written. The idea of the book doesn't suit me, but I respect the author’s spiritual journey and his sharing of it. I hope the book finds the right reader. Congrats on BOTD

While I think a spiritual journey is not necessarily tied to a religion, this book seems to have too much focus on Christianity to be enjoyed by someone not interested in the religion. But it seems like it's a well written book for it's intended audience.

Everyone has a spiritual journey. However, not all of us might be able to journal our journeys and make them public. Kudos to the author for sharing his spiritual journey with the world.

The book's main themes of sacrifice, finding true joy through an intimate relationship with Jesus, weathering challenges through patience, and the virtue of redirecting toward spiritual simplicity resonate with me as key takeaways.

Thank you for your review. "One pivotal lesson conveyed in the book is that our spiritual journey is far from effortless; it's riddled with challenges that underscore the importance of cultivating a forgiving nature, taming anger, and exhibiting patience with God, all rooted in our robust faith and belief." This message will resonate with Christians who understand it takes work to have a deep and meaningful relationship with God. I agree that, for fellow Christians, there is much to learn from the stories shared in this book.

From the book itself, you could see that the author was very passionate about what he was writing—guiding Christians in the path of their spiritual journey.
I agree that the book is a wealth of knowledge for people who strenghten their spiritual connection with God. The author's captivating writing style cannot be ignored, too.

This is a journey of self-exploration. The protagonist tells the story of his thoughts and ideas. The author mainly deals with his spirituality and religion.

Your review is very informative, Davy! Sampling, I discovered that this book is about human connection with God and the spiritual transformation to break through stagnation. I liked how the author, a professional theologian, responded to the corner cafe feedback of the parishioners about the lack of spirituality in the church. Your review has enhanced my initial impression with the lessons of spirituality you learned from this book. Feels like an interesting read for Christian non-fiction fans.

This book sounds really enlightening and full of insight on how to grow closer to God. The author has a doctorate degree in theology which from my opinion makes him a credible source. Great review thank you for your honesty.
