I like your comment at the end - rating a book like this is almost cruel as you are rating the author's life - I always try to find things that would make me not want to mark down books. This definitely sounds like a work worth reading.

Sounds like a very interesting book. I agree that eating disorder is a serious mental illness and that we should pay attention to our loved ones who might be afflicted with it. This book kind of scares me with the 'controlling therapist' part. Great job on the review.
