I love cats, but then I love all animals. I like the reference to the historical significance of cats, shedding light on their behavior and the factors influencing it. I've found books that include relatable experiences help one to retain information longer; we remember the experiences if not the theory. I have a friend whose cat is almost blind, but I've never had that experience with any of the cats I've had. Thank you for your informative review.

I want to read this book as an owner of multiple cats with unique personalities. I am especially interested in the chapter about Egypt, where cats were treated as gods because my cats behave like gods. Thank you for your informative review.

One is certainly not too old to learn. I didn't know cats were lactose intolerant. The Ultimate Guide to Understanding Your Cat by Jia Mau explores information about these felines. Cat lovers and owners will benefit from this valuable book. Thanks for a great review.

I know nothing about caring for a cat. They are not my favorite animal so I would have to rely on the expertise of Mr. Valentine. We all love our pets and need to know how to properly care for them.

The book covers several aspects like cat behavior, impact on mental and physical health, daily hazards, grooming tips and techniques. Information about lactose intolerance was new for me, I admit. This comprehensive guide sounds like a great book for cat owners and lovers.

Even though I have only read the sampler, I can see that this is going to be a great guide for cat lovers every where. The author tells us why cats make such good pets. Jia also gives us background on how it came about that cats live with us. Then, the story covers the history of cats thru the ages. Anyone who is a cat lover will love this book!

Great review! I have been a cat owner for about thirty years, and I have two cats now. One is 15 years old, and the other is a kitten that showed up on our doorstep. I grabbed a copy of this book, and I'm going to read it to see if there are other things that I can learn from it.
