Sounds like a very touching story. The fight against Cancer is such a struggle for everyone involved. Great review, you captivated me. I'm going to have to put it on my "want to read" shelf.

I love your review and I was a little confused about the devoted grandfather grieving the loss from the terrorist attacks on September 9th. I think that you mean that he was grieving the loss from the terrorist attacks on September 11th. I love that the story is realistic and not as polished as other books. It gives the story the necessary depth and warmth that it deserves.

I hope Hope makes it. I wonder why she was named Hope. Premonition or destiny? In the Bible, names usually portended the person's mission.
