Rosie Norman-Neubauer describes a very personal path of self-identification and reconnection in her book Finding Closure. Adopted at birth, she considers how she found her birth family and finds answers to questions she had for a long time. Anyone interested in family history and self-discovery will find this memoir to be enlightening and relatable.

I usually don't read memoirs, but one line from the review really resonated with me: 'Reality does not always live up to hopes and expectations.' The review is very well written, and I can't wait to read the book!

"Finding Closure" by Rosie Norman-Neubauer is the author's self-discovery memoir. The author was adopted at birth and raised in Berkhamsted, England. Although she had everything with her adoptive family, she always wondered who her biological parents were.

"Finding Closure" by Rosie Norman-Neubauer talks about love, loss, and self-discovery with poignancy and thoughtfulness. This journey of emotions is brought to light by a woman protagonist who finds herself struggling with the odds of life.
Strengths:
1 . Relatable characters: Well-fleshed out, believable, and imperfect.
2 . Emotional depth: A window into grief and guilt and into healing.
3 . Compelling storytelling: One surprise twist after another will keep you glued.
4 . Qualities such as resilience, forgiveness, personal growth, etc.
Weaknesses:
1. Snail pacing: Some portions dragged along, while others felt rushed.
2. Character development: All those supporting characters needed more depth.
Summary:
1 . A good emotional read: This is a book for those grieving and struggling.
2. Encouragement for empowering growth: For self-growth and for whom readers out there.
3. Real ('too real'): A candid portrayal of complicated relation dynamics.
Its Audience:
"Finding Closure" is perfect for:
1. Those interested in contemporary drama and women's fiction (ex. Nicholas Sparks, Colleen Hoover).
2. Readers of emotional stories, driven by characters.
3. People looking for such topics as grief; forgiveness; personal growth.
Rating: 4.4/5 stars
Critique:
"Finding Closure" might hit sore spots of a few gentle readers for pacing problems, yet the book is compelling to read because of her simple characters, depth of feeling, and its compelling storytelling.

Finding Closure , seems like a book about self discovery . As the author embarks on the journey to find family after 55 years , the discoveries made would add on to an already amazing self. The title seems so apt. Closure is something every human being earns for . I would love to read this story.
