Sounds like a great family story, and the fact that it is true makes it more interesting.

However, why does it have a sentence from an Ed Sheeran's song? "Loving can heal, loving can mend your soul..." is from his song Photograph.

Thanks for the good review!

it isn't in the book. I added it as a quote in the review because I thought it does suit with review?

"The story seemed to contain an endless galaxy of love, despair and hope." That alone makes me want to read this book. The rest of your review really makes me want to read it. I love family history stories and this is particularly appealing as it covers three generations. I've also always been a fan of themes revolving around the "American Dream" and this seems to cover that. Great review, Darakhshan!

Looks like such an interesting non-fiction book, I think your review did it justice. Loved the quotes you selected from it as well.

Vdery nice review! Your review shows how much you loved the book. And you clearly spelt out the crux of the book; Keep going!
What is the most special thing I did today- I was MYSELF. Happy and in love and unapologetically myself.

I find it hard to enjoy reading autobiographies but seems like this one is an exception. Thanks for the nice review.

Thank you for your review, Darakhshan Nazir. This is probably not going to be one of my reads, but I did find traces of your own story revealed in your review and I found that most interesting.

Thomas's wife stayed by his side even when he had no penny in his pocket, but only dust. This made me chuckle a little while at the same time - it touched me. The book sounds quite deep and interesting. Thank you for the review.
