Dear Diana Lowery, Hallelujah!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts on "Dragons and Butterflies." Your insights into the author's journey and the impact of his story on your experience truly mean a lot to everyone.

I am thrilled to hear that you found the audiobook format engaging and that his narration resonated with you. It was important for him to convey his experiences authentically, and I’m glad that you felt the honesty and emotion behind his words.

Your recognition of the Twelve Step Program and A Course in Miracles as pivotal elements in his recovery journey is especially appreciated. He probably wrote this memoir with the hope of inspiring others who may be facing similar challenges, and it's heartening to know that you believe it can serve as motivation for those struggling with addiction.

I also appreciate your kind words about the role of his high school English teacher. It’s a reminder of how influential educators can be in shaping lives.

Your five-star rating is incredibly encouraging, and I hope that this story continues to reach and inspire many more readers.

Blessings to you, and thank you once again for your thoughtful review!

Warm regards,

Books like this one always come in very handy; they are beacon of hope for everybody, because all of us have been hurt or abused in some way, especially during a time when we are most vulnerable, our childhood. Read this page turner and be reminded once more of the power that human beings posses.

I have not read the book reviewed here, but Diana makes it easier to understand the contents of the book in just a few paragraphs. From this review, I gather that the book is presented in a first-person narrative and that the author explains their experiences with abuse during childhood.

I also understand from this review that Calloway, the author, narrates the story as a way to motivate people, suggesting that challenging experiences like child abuse can be transformed into positive influences for a successful future. However, what I don’t understand from this review is how the author can be both successful and an addict simultaneously as a result of their childhood abuse.

Nice review! When I first heard the title, I thought that it was a sci-fi/fantasy story. I'm glad that it is not. The author has gone through a lot in his life and has come out the other side. This will, indeed, be a fascinating book to read.

Thank you for your detailed review! Hearing the story direct from the author would certainly make the experience feel more authentic. I often wonder how authors would present their stories if they always read them aloud themselves. I’m not often interested in memoirs, but this sounds like a fascinating, powerful read. The struggles faced, and overcome, sound overwhelming. I look forward to reading it soon.
