I also believe it would be appropriate to recommend this book to grandparents who hear their grandchildren say silly things that are hard to grasp. They would get a good laugh out of it. Thank you for your informative review of the book of quotes from 8th-grade students.

I enjoyed having a giggle reading the sample of the book "What did they say". It shows that the teacher had a fun day idea to interact with the students. It made the children more interested and excited to be in class having a little concept to play with. The teacher did a great job by making a little game out of the children's little mishaps as way of teaching and learning in a fun way. It shows the once again the innocence of children that is still in ourselves as well, showing even if make a little mishap there is a creative way to get around it. Loved the sample!

An easy to read book, comical and interesting. I will read it so that I get full insights and recommend it to parents with kids whom I know will find it interesting too. Am anxious to get it and start reading it. Congratulations book of the day.

This reminded me of my years when I was still in school. I have my own list of funny things I have heard from my classmates and schoolmates and everytime I remember those moments I could not stop myself from laughing. This book would definitely a good read.

This sounds like a fun read. A kind of read which will give you a sense of amusement after a long day. Children can say some really thought provoking things sometimes with the cutest innocence. I think I'll enjoy this book, so I would love to explore it.

This review perfectly captures the charm and humor of "What Did They Say?" by Todd Sherman. The reviewer’s personal connection as a parent and teacher’s child adds depth to their appreciation. Their enthusiasm is contagious, making this book sound like a delightful, lighthearted read—especially for parents and educators.

I probably would not be able to read this book in public. When I read funny things, I can't help but to laugh out loud and most people look at me weird when I do

Kids say the funniest (and sometimes the wisest) things. And the fact that the author cared enough about his students to remember not only the quote but also the story behind it warms my heart. Congratulations!

"What Did They Say?" by Todd Sherman immediately reminded me of the late Art Linkletter's radio program, "Kids Say the Darndest Things". As an educator who has interacted with various age groups of children, I know they do. With its insightful and educative content, this book is a valuable resource. We can learn something from these children even as they learn from us. Thanks for an engaging review.

A lovely compilation of quotes from the childrens of various age groups can be found in the comic like book "What Did They Say?" by Todd Sherman. This book appears to be entertaining to read.

I think the idea of kids leaving quotes on a whiteboard in an eighth-grade class is quite quirky and smart. The author takes these unique quotes and each gives an insight into the silly mind of these children. I find it hilarious that each class he has ever had since 2007 participated in the idea of leaving quote on the board over the years. Great sample, it's a must read.

The book really sounds hilarious and it was exciting to read the sample. I'm a teacher myself and I know first-hand what those words and phrases look like when their mouths don’t sync with their thoughts. It will be interesting to read the whole book. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!
