I am glad that this book has revealed how beneficial caregivers are to the health sector. They should be properly paid and duly awarded.

I enjoyed this review and definitely will check out the book. Care workers have a tough job indeed! Thanks for the review.
Anyone who says they have only one life to live must not know how to read a book.

I worked in home health caregiving for years, often difficult, challenging and requires a lot of patience. The rewards can be great but it can also be sad, scary and annoying. That is why it makes me upset fast food workers run around demanding $15 an hour. I made less than $9 an hour and had to be in sometimes awful environments, change adult diapers and plenty of other gross stuff. Caregivers should get a raise!
While I don’t have an issue with the demand by fast food workers for a better living wage, I completely agree with you about how caregivers should be receiving higher pay - and, better benefits, for that matter; the work is often stressful and hard on your body, so good benefits should be a given.

Working in healthcare is definitely a challenge as is any job dealing with people. It oftentimes seems that healthcare professionals are overworked and underpaid. Thanks for the review of this one!
I definitely think this book is worth checking out. You’re right, any job where you deal with people can be challenging, and healthcare professionals can definitely be overworked and underpaid. Thank you for your comment.

Thank you for reading my review, and for sharing your thoughts.

Yes, they are quite beneficial - oftentimes the backbones of the health sector. Thank you.

A nonfiction book that gives us a n humorous peek into the life of a care worker sounds intriguing. That the stories are both relatable and enjoyable is to the credit of the author. Too bad about the lack of polish. Not my cup of tea, but I am glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the review!

My mom was a careworker for many years, and she would have enjoyed this book. There are so many opportunities to grow and meet challenges, but it is also exhausting work. I am thankful that there are those who love their job and the people they serve, as this book seems to show.

Even though this book is written with a positive vibe, I'm afraid I'm just not interested in a care worker's stories, funny, sad, or otherwise.

I personally don't know anything about being a care worker so I think this book can do a great job explaining what they go through and the people they work with. It's a nice change to read about someone who did one thing but then changed into another.

An often light hearted and humourus look into the world of caregivers. I've been a caregiver for years and this book is so the truth lol. Loved it and definitely give it 4 of 4 stars. Excellent story
and great review. Congrats on being BOTD.
