It sounds like the author did a wonderful job of balancing his struggles with a positive outlook that translates to the reader. Thanks for the recommendation!Matt Crofton’s sense of humour also shines through. His truths can become difficult to read, but he easily balances it out with some much-appreciated comic relief. Mighty also features short journal entries and lovely photographs of Matt Crofton’s adventure, making this read even more personal. He connects with his reader - something I enjoyed immensely.

It definitely made it easier to read. His struggle with depression and PTSD is so sad, but the humour made it all bearable.Cecilia_L wrote: ↑24 Jul 2018, 19:27It sounds like the author did a wonderful job of balancing his struggles with a positive outlook that translates to the reader. Thank you so much for that! The support on OBC always takes my breath away. I hope you enjoy this read as much as I did.Plfern wrote: ↑24 Jul 2018, 19:55 Wow! I was impressed with your review, JR Mercier. You gave a very realistic and heartwrenching account of what the author went through having to deal with all these diseases. I enjoy reading books about how people conquer the obstacles in their lives. This one sounds like a must-read for me.

That's a shame but glad you learned something.prospero360 wrote: ↑25 Jul 2018, 11:20 I just learnt the meaning of Histoplasmosis and Sarcoidosis. Other than that, I'm not sure Matt Crofton's story will really inspire me, as I've read a lot of similar stories. Nice review.
