Seems like a really good book. From the sample, looks like it contains a ton of real life motivational stories. Kudos to the author!

This is sort of a life story with her father. The author is right in making this piece, at least our parents should benefit from our writing prowess that we also feature them in our works. People of ancient times had it along with their civilization to worship their ancestors. In our times, to honor our parents is encoded in the Christian laws of conduct (see Mosaic Law) and upbringing. Thanks for the review.

Religion may seem irrelevant to a man who had everything, so I wonder what was the turning point for the author's father. Thanks for the insightful review, I'd love to check out this book soon.

From your review, it sounds like the author hit the nail on the head regarding the most valuable things in life and the struggles some very successful people have in putting their trust in God. Thank you for an insightful review.

Though I’m not religious and don’t like to read books to do with Christianity, I appreciate that this is a personal memoir about the author’s father, and adding “chuckisms” at the beginning of each chapter and some family photos was a nice touch.

It’s great to see the author honoring her father in this way while also seeing a way in which she thinks he could have led his life better and leads her own life accordingly. We shouldn’t follow our heroes—or our parents—blindly but take what we like in them and improve upon what we don’t in ourselves. I’m not Christian and so won’t care much for that side of this book, but otherwise, it sounds it fairly inspiring. Thank you for the helpful review.

I am not that interested in religion and spirituality so I don't think I am the target audience for this book. Thanks for the review though.
